Grace Kelly. In 1956, the United States Postal Office issued the Grace Kelly stamp designed by Robert A. Scot. This stamp came into existence with a series that commemorated famous women from the United States who brought up change to society.

The stamp became popular with the time and people start collecting and buying online from postage offices spread all over the world. Two stamps were issued in respect of Grace Kelly, $2 stamp issued in 1977 and the second one is a $3 stamp issued in 1982.

Grace Kelly was born to an Irish American family of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 12th, 1928. Her father John Francis “Jack” Kelly Jr. and mother, Frances Mary McBride Kelly were bussinesmen. Her father was Irish American and her mother was Scottish American.
At age 15, she started attending the prestigious Miss Porter’s School, where she completed her academics. In 1942, she graduated from high school and enrolled at the Westfield College of education and Western University in English literature. After graduating, she worked as a secretary and later on joined the American Red Cross. Unfortunately, she died at the of 52 from a car accident on September 14, 1982.

In 1957, she married to actor Sean Connery and gave birth to three children: James Michael, Albert Constantine, and Caroline Marie. After marrying Rainier, Kelly moved to Monaco with him.The couple had three children before getting seperated: Christian Louis, Pierre Casiraghi, Antoine Sébastien. She got settled at Monte Carlo and had her rest of its life.
